Modern Day Unforgettable Wedding Scenes
Many of us probably got our first look at weddings from Hollywood movies scenes. Watching our favorite, and most beautiful actors and actresses walk down the aisle has probably been the inspiration for more than a couple of us girls around the world to one day do the same thing with our Prince Charming. Hollywood romance comes in many different forms, with many different types of couples, and many different love stories. We can all relate to these films in one way or another and enjoy watching them to see our favorite actors. Some of these actors and actresses that we know and love on screen together go on to be actual couples as we have seen countless times. So we have to wonder if that spark on camera in some cases is real and true. As movie watchers we know we all love it when our favorite couples on screen get together (Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams from the Notebook….who wasn’t obsessed with that couple?). Let`s take a look at some of my favorite proposal and wedding scenes from the past couple years. There are millions of classic, romantic movies that are much older than all these movies but if we went into them as well, the list would be never ending! If you have never seen these movies before beware of spoilers!1) A Walk to Remember: Jamie is getting sicker and sicker from Cancer so Landon proposes to her to fulfill one of her life time dreams of getting married in the same church her parents got married in.
2) The Vow: Paige and Leo, a young, energetic, fun couple make their vows in a museum surrounded by their great friends before tragedy strikes them both and they truly have to live up to the vows they made one another.
3) Sweet Home Alabama: Melanie is having a tough time letting go of her first love. She is engaged to another man (Patrick Dempsey) and walking down the aisle when she realizes she gave her heart away a long time ago and she never got it back from him.
4) The Proposal: This might just be one of the best, funniest proposals between two of the hottest stars in Hollywood.
5) Sex and The City: It took awhile (the entire movie and basically every season of Sex and The City) for Big to realize why Carrie needs a diamond ring from him but by the end of the movie he finally gets it.
6) He`s Just Not That Into You: After Neil fights and fights Beth on the idea of marriage he gives in and realizes the importance of marriage and her being in his life. Neil is played by Ben Affleck and Beth by Jennifer Aniston, two of my favorite actors.
7) Twilight Breaking Dawn: For those Twilight fans!!
8) My Best Friend`s Wedding: After almost successfully breaking up her best friend and his fiancé Jules gives up the battle for him and lets love win.
These are just a few of some of the recent Hollywood films that make us want to fall in love and have our fairy tale ending. There are millions more especially the older classics that are great romantic films that will have you thinking of love and happily ever afters! Next rainy day stay in and watch one of these great, romantic movies, you won`t regret it!
