Happy February, Paisley Press Readers!

Happy February, everyone!

I thought it might be fun to do a bit of research on the month itself, so here it goes!  Here's a subtle tribute to the month of love.

A few fun facts:
  • February is the shortest month and the only month on the calendar with fewer than 30 days!
  • February hosts leap year every four years!
  • Holidays in February include Valentine's Day, Groundhog Day, and Lincoln & Washington's Birthdays.
  • February always starts and ends on the same day!
  • February is the only month of the year that can pass without a single full moon!

February is associated with a number of cool symbols too:
  • February has two birth flowers: violets and the common primrose.
  • February's birthstone is the amethyst which symbolizes piety, humility, spiritual wisdom, and sincerity.
  • February's zodiac signs are Aquarius (through February 18th) and Pisces (starting on February 19th).
I hope you all enjoy your month!

xoxo
Katherine
